This stunning restored Ford Escort RS Cosworth in red sitting on air ride suspension was in for a full show car preparation ready to be transported to the Worthersee show in Austria.
A safe wash and decontamination was carried out prior to a two stage machine polish to remove swirl marks and scratches from the paintwork. Two layers of Offset Detailing’s prototype wax was applied to further enhance gloss levels, and create a dripping wet look to the paint with that all important protection. Glass was then polished inside and out, with Gtechniq Smart Glass applied giving great hydrophobic behavior.
The inside was carefully cleaned, sanitised and vacuumed throughout. Onto the engine bay which was immaculate – this was all cleaned and dressed by hand (no pressure washing or steam involved).
Onto the chassis, the Rondell wheels were removed, arches, suspension components, brakes etc were also cleaned carefully by hand and dressed. New adaptors were mounted to the hubs, and the incredible 19″ custom made BBS E88 wheels were treated with Titan Coatings Ultra Top Coat and fitted.
This car is an absolute work of art, with the finish it deserves.
