A rather special car to detail – one of eight worldwide in acid yellow, build number 254 for the UK, 2004 Renault Clio V6 Sport. This example boasted some subtle modifications as well as a recent repaint in the original acid yellow. RSC coilovers, wheel spacers, a Momo Team 300mm steering wheel, retrimmed Recaro seats, some alcantara and a genuine Trophy rear spoiler add that bit ‘extra’ to an already awesome car.
A safe wash and decontamination process was carried out prior to a two stage machine polish to remove as many swirlmarks and defects as safely possible.
Paintwork protection from ODK Revere ceramic wax , two layers of this was applied to amp up the pearl and gloss levels of the acid yellow paintwork while providing great hydrophobic behavior. The glass was polished inside and out, with Angel H2GO rain repellent applied to the exterior glass. Inside, the seats, steering wheel, door cards, panels and dash were cleaned and sanitised with Sansom Cabin Care, then vacuumed throughout.
The engine bay was carefully cleaned and dressed (a very tight space to work in). Wheels were also removed, treated inside and out with Titan Coatings Ultra Top Coat with the inner arches cleaned and dressed. Finally the exhaust tips were polished with Mothers metal polish.
