Having detailed the owners Ferrari F430 previously (which you can view by clicking here) I was invited to detail his latest additions to the collection. This Dino and The 250 Europa as well as his friend’s California T (which you can also view by clicking here).

This particular Ferrari Dino has an impressive history.

One of only 235 UK right-hand drive examples ever produced and one of only two UK supplied cars finished in the very attractive Grigio Ferro Metallizzato. Supplied new in October 1973 by Maranello Concessionaires to Mr William Shand Kydd (Princess Diana’s step-uncle). Factory options specified were metallic paint, a full leather interior and electric windows.

A total matching numbers example that has never been taken apart or restored and is still complete with its original books including its original warranty card, tool roll and jack. In addition it is accompanied by a very well-documented history file with correspondence dating back to 1973.

The Dino was given a two stage machine polish to remove as many defects as safely possible and enhancing the depth of finish, gloss and overall clarity. Paintwork, trim, chrome, front and rear lights were protected with Pyramid Car Care Ceramic Coating Pro edition further enhancing gloss and giving great protection against the elements.

The glass was polished inside out and the exterior glass protected with Pyramid Car Care’s new glass coating. Wheels were treated with Polishangel PTFE.

*Note bonnet and boot are on the latch in video and pictures (not normal panel alignment).
