I was invited down to D Class Automotive to detail this classic 1988 Porsche 911 Targa for one of their customers in Dubai. D Class are an extremely talented outfit in Woking, Surrey run by my friend Dave Price. Expert trimmers on all classics and modern presitge/exotic cars as well as development and contracted work for many manufacturers – Mclaren and their F1 division, Mercedes and just about every other car brand in between. It was very interesting seeing P1 GTR steering wheels, dashboard and seats being made up and checking out the precious metal in their showroom which you can see below in the HD video and pictures. Note this was only SOME of the stock there. The ones under covers and in the other unit are breath taking.
Onto the 911. A two stage machine polish was carried out to rid moderate swirls and defects. Certified detailer only Kamikaze Collection ISM Pro was applied to the paintwork and black trim. Glass received a coating of Kamikaze Collection Intenso with the wheel faces having a durable coat of Kamikaze Collection Stance. Tyres dressed with Gyeon.
