A very well specced 2022 BMW M340d with factory fitted carbon fibre roof was in for it’s new car detail. Our usual safe wash and decontamination process was carried out first, followed by a two stage machine polish to rid the paintwork of any minor defects and create great clarity in the skyscraper grey metallic paintwork ready for Kamikaze Collection ceramic coatings.
The owner opted for Miyabi as a base layer with accredited detailer only application of Zipang Gold Class coating for the top layer. This is a tried and tested combination boasting extreme candy like gloss and excellent hydrophobic properties. This was applied to paintwork, carbon fibre and trim.
Also, our wheel & caliper protection package was added. Wheels are removed, coated inside and out including calipers and exhaust tips, which resists build up of brake dust and road grime, making the wheels and calipers easier to clean.
The glass was then polished inside and out, with the exterior glass coated with Titan Coatings Hyperglass Dark Matter, aiding the driver in poor road conditions, minimising the use of wiperblades. Interior was cleaned, sanitised and vacuumed throughout, and finally the engine bay cleaned and dressed with Titan Coatings Ultra V3.
