This is an excellent example of a ceramic coating new car detail. One of the brand new Polestar 2 electric cars booked in for our new car detail, protected with ceramic coatings.
To start the detail off, a safe wash and decontamination process was carried out first. This prepares the paintwork surface ready to be machine polished. A two stage machine polish paint correction was carried out to remove minor swirl marks and scratches. As a result, this gives the ceramic coating the best surface to bond to, and removes any unsightly paint defects.
Ceramic coating of choice was Titan Coatings TITAN followed up by their Ultra V3 Top Coat. The glass was then polished inside and out, with Titan Coatings Hyperglass applied to the exterior side. This helps greatly with driving in poor road conditions, as rain and dirt lightly slide off of the surface and reduces the need for constant wiper usage.
After that, the wheel faces were protected with Titan Coatings G238 V2. Therefore, by coating the wheels less road dirt and brake dust bond to the surface reducing pitting and dirt build up – this also makes the wheels easy to clean.
To complete the ceramic coating new car detail, the interior was finally cleaned, vacuumed and sanitised throughout.
