A 2023 Volvo XC40 EV in for it’s new car detail.
After a thorough wash down and decontamination process, a two stage machine polish was carried out to remove minor defects and enhance gloss levels.
Ceramic coating of choice was Kamikaze Collection Miyabi Coat Graphene Pro which is an accredited detailer only application. Coming in two parts, Miyabi Coat Graphene Pro contains a Catalytic Base Coat in addition to the ‘top coat’ of Oxide Graphene. The results of these two high-tech formulas are a ceramic coating for car paintwork that will offer lasting durability of up to 5 years when properly maintained, repelling dirt and all looking incredibly glossy at the same time. The combination of these two stages together offers a much tougher film property and only further enhances the water repellency of fully cured surfaces.
After the coating was applied, the glass was polished inside and out, and the exterior side coated with Titan Coatings Hyper Glass, aiding the driver in poor weather conditions.
Moving on the interior, this was cleaned, vacuumed and sanitised throughout and our leather protection package added. Leather is cleaned and coated with Dr Leather Dye Block to resist against dirt and dye transfer. Wheel faces were coated with Gyeon Rim.
