These cars are in demand, we’ve done a few of the new MK8 Golf R’s here at Offset, this brand new lapis blue example is however their 20th Anniversary Edition, featuring some nice extras including the factory fitted Akrapovic exhaust system.
We started off with the usual safe wash and decontamination process, followed by a two stage machine polish. Even though the paintwork was in great condition, Daryl removed some very minor defects and teased out that extra gloss and depth to the lapis blue paintwork that really makes a difference even on brand new vehicles.
This was all protected with Kamikaze Collection ISM 3.0 ceramic coating which was applied to the paintwork and trim. The glass was polished inside and out with Titan Coatings Hyperglass applied to the exterior side to aid the driver in poor road conditions.
The owner also opted for our wheel and caliper protection package. Wheels are removed, coated inside and out including calipers and exhaust tips with Titan Coatings Pyro PRX coating. The interior was cleaned, vacuumed and sanitised throughout with the engine bay cleaned and dressed. These cars really look awesome fully detailed.
