This pocket rocket VW Up GTI in metallic red is one of the last ever VW GTI builds. This was booked in for our new car detail plus our wheel and caliper protection package add on.
A safe wash and decontamination process was carried out first, followed by a two stage machine polish to remove minor swirl marks and scratches, bringing out the best in the metallic red paint which really pops. To protect the paintwork and trim, Kamikaze Collection ZIpang coating was applied. This is an accredited detailer only application. Zipang Coat combines high quality, ingredients with Kamikaze Collection’s ultra-low molecular weight hydrocarbons to produce a coating with extreme water-repelling properties and extreme gloss levels, further boosting the metallic red paintwork.
The glass was polished inside and out, with the exterior side coated with Absolute ‘Glass Act’ coating which aids the driver in poor weather conditions by repelling dirt and rain.
Our wheel and caliper protection package was also added to the detailing list. Wheels were removed, coated inside and out including the chrome exhaust tip with Gyeon Rim.
The interior was cleaned, vacuumed and sanitised throughout and the engine bay cleaned, dressed.
