This BMW X3 was booked in for an extensive new car detail. Starting with a safe wash and decontamination process to remove all dirt prior to a two stage machine polish to remove any minor defects and enhance gloss level. The paintwork was in excellent condition with only small areas that needed correction.
Kamikaze Collection’s coatings were used to protect the paintwork and gloss trim. The “Zipang sandwich” was applied. A base layer of Zipang, a middle layer of Miyabi and then a final top layer of Zipang. This gives the coatings extra thickness, extreme gloss as well as superb hydrophobic behavior.
The glass was then polished inside and out, with Kamikaze Collection Intenso applied to the exterior glass all round. The owner also opted for our leather and wheel/caliper protection packages. The leather is cleaned and protected with Dr Leather Dye Block helping against dirt and dye transfer.
Wheels were then removed, coated inside and out including calipers with Gtechniq C5. The inner arches and suspension components were also cleaned, then dressed. Finally the engine bay was cleaned and dressed.
