A returning customer brought his brand new 2022 Range Rover SVR for a ceramic coating new car detail. Fully loaded with the exposed carbon fibre bonnet, this SVR was booked in for the best ceramic coating we offer.
This detail took 3 days from to start to finish. Firstly, we carried out a safe wash and decontamination process. Secondly, a two stage machine polish was completed to remove minor swirl marks, scratches and holograms from the paintwork and trim. Followed by a quality ceramic coating application for that much needed paint protection.
Following the trend of his previous details, the customer chose our top tier ceramic coating called Kamikaze Collection ENREI. This is a two layer process which bonds together and is an accredited Kamikaze Collecton Detailer application, only available to certified detailers. The first layer acts as a primer. It penetrates the microscopic pores in the paint’s lacquer to form a secure bond. This also increases the surface area for the topcoat to bond to.
The second layer provides an extremely tough, resistant hydrophobic barrier that repels dirt, salt, water and oils. This unique formulation helps prevent water spotting which can be a major issue with other ceramic coatings. Enrei is resistant to extremes of pH, making it the ideal solution for winter and summer driving conditions.
As an added bonus Enrei enhances the finish of the paintwork considerably, leaving an outstanding wet look shine.
Finishing touches to this Ceramic Coating New Car Detail
The exterior glass was polished inside and out with Titan Coatings Hyperglass, giving protection against the elements which helps the driver in poor road conditions.
Wheels and exhaust tips were protected with KDD Revolve wheel coating. This is a great product which helps resist road grime, brake dust and exhaust soot making them easier to clean. The interior was also cleaned, vacuumed and sanitised throughout.
Lastly, to finish off the new car detail the engine bay was cleaned and dressed.
