A stunning 2007 Ferrari F430 coupe with under 8,000 miles from new booked in for the Offset Detailing ‘Ultimate detail’.

Firstly, a multi stage machine polish was carried out to rid as many paint defects as safely possible creating a deep glossy effect to the rosso red paintwork.

Kamikaze Collection’s flagship coating Enrei a two stage application was then applied to the paintwork and trim.

ABOUT ENREI COAT.
The Platinum paint protection, Kamikaze Collection ENREI Coat represents the latest innovation in nanotechnology-based coatings.

ENREI Coat is a two-stage sealant, firstly a primer layer is applied to prepare the surface ensuring it is smooth and uniform. The chemical formula is designed to enhance the bonding potential with the top coat, ensuring the highest possible performance in terms of protection and longevity. ENREI provides superior resistance to chemicals, repels water and therefore water-borne contamination, oils and grime.

Treated surfaces remain cleaner, longer and maintenance washing is therefore much easier, requiring less pressure and negating the need for harsh chemicals.

Kamikaze Collection is a Japanese designer of innovative ceramic coatings and ENREI Coat is their flagship coating option. Manufactured using the Japanese ‘Kaizen’ philosophy of continuous improvement, ENREI provides unrivalled protection and gloss. The coating itself must be applied following strict methods and under tightly controlled environmental conditions. As such, ENREI Coat is available as a service only through Kamikaze Collection trained and certified detailers. (3-5 years protection) with correct aftercare.

Glass was delicately cleaned inside out and out prior to being coated with Angelwax H2GO rain repellent for the exterior glass, making the use of windscreen wipers a thing of the past due to it’s high hydrophobic properties. Should the Ferrari ever see rain and poor weather conditions, rain and dirt will simply glide off of the surface for safer driving conditions.

Wheels were removed, with one being refurbished in factory silver. Inner arches and all suspension/chassis components were completely cleaned and dressed along with the calipers cleaned to revive that fresh ‘straight from the factory’ appearance.

Wheels, brake calipers and wheel bolts were coated inside and out with Gyeon Rim. Coating the wheels inside and out means less brake dust and road grime bond to the surface, in conclusion cleaning them is an easy task as is the calipers and bolts, not that the huge ceramic brakes kick out a lot of dust.

Moving onto the engine bay, the exhaust was carefully machine polished to remove oxidisation and create a mirror finish. The rest of the engine bay was delicately cleaned by hand and dressed in a non greasy matte finish.

The interior was fully vacuumed throughout, with the leather deep cleaned and coated to a factory matte finish with Gyeon Leather Coat Q2 helping against dye and dirt transfer ingraining in the leather.

After around 40 hours work, the result of the ultimate detail option for a car of this calibre creates a showroom finish, increases the value and protects all surfaces of the Ferrari for many years to come.
