This stunning brand new 2022 Audi TTRS in solid nardo grey was in for it’s new car detail. Untouched by the dealership, the RS was PDI’d and instructed to have all exterior and interior protective wraps left on and not valeted. This is the best possible way to collect your vehicle if you are bringing it to Offset Detailing in Essex. Firstly the exterior protective wraps and stickers are carefully removed, then a full contamination and safe wash using non acidic products, ready to be machine polished.
Even though brand new and not touched by the dealership, the vehicle still may have some minor marks from transportation from the factory to the dealers. A two stage machine polish was carried out to remove any minor marks and being nardo grey, it needs to be extremely glossy, so an ultra fine polish and pad combination was used on the second stage to really refine the paintwork giving it that better than new finish ready for the ceramic coating to be applied.
One of our best coatings we offer and an accredited detailer only application – Kamikaze Collection Zipang Gold Class coating was applied to the paint and trim. This coating gives a candy, wet like shine and extreme hydrophobic (water hating) properties to the nardo grey, further enhancing the gloss we unlocked in the machine polishing stages.
The glass was polished inside and out, removing any factory sticker residue with the exterior glass coated with Titan Coatings Hyperglass Dark Matter to aid the driver in poor road conditions and reducing the need of windscreen wipers as the rain and dirt will literally roll off from the surface while on the move.
Onto the wheels, the owner opted for our wheel and protection package. Wheels are removed, coated inside and out including the calipers, hubs with KKD Revolve as well as the exhaust tips. This vastly reduces brake dust and road grime bonding to the surface which over time and ruin the finish. It also makes the wheels and brakes easier to clean.
Interior was sanitised and vacuumed throughout with the brand new mats and luggage net fitted.
Finally, the engine bay and scuttle panel was cleaned and protected with Titan Coatings Ultra Top Coat V3 adding a factory matte finish and hydrophobic behavior.
